We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of professor Miguel Ángel Miranda Alonso, a distinguished scientist and pioneer in the field of photobiology in Spain.

Miguel Ángel began his academic journey at the University of Valencia and went on to complete his doctoral thesis at the Autonomous University of Madrid under the mentorship of Professor Francisco Fariña.
